RECEPTIONThe Wedding Day
Cathedral Ceremony, followed by a celebration at Quinta Lucrecia Casa y El Río
After the ceremony, la fiesta continúa!
Join us at Quinta Lucrecia Casa y El Río for dinner, lots of dancing, drinks, and a night of celebration with our favorite people.
Start time Church - 12:00 to 1:00 pm
Cocktail Hour - 1:30 pm until the night ends.
HOW TO GET THERE AND WHERE TO STAYTravel Tips
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Ecuador!
Traveling internationally can feel like a lot, so we wanted to share a few helpful tips to make your journey as smooth as possible.
CURRENCYEcuador uses U.S. dollars, so there’s no need to exchange money.
Small bills are helpful for taxis, tips, and local shops.
FLIGHTSPlease make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your travel dates.
Most international flights arrive in Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE).From there, you’ll take a short domestic flight to Cuenca (CUE).
A Note About Flying Into Cuenca
Cuenca’s airport is a smaller, regional airport with limited daily flights, mostly to and from Quito and Guayaquil.
Flights typically operate during the day and early evening (it’s not a 24-hour airport). Because of this, we recommend planning your connection to Cuenca earlier in the day whenever possible.
If you arrive late internationally into Quito or Guayaquil, it’s often easiest to stay overnight and take a short domestic flight to Cuenca the following morning.
PRIVATE DRIVERSDriving is an option if you prefer not to fly. Approximate travel times are 7–8 hours from Quito and 3.5–4 hours from Guayaquil.
Private drivers are widely available and a comfortable option, especially for groups. For added peace of mind, we’ll be sharing a list of trusted transportation companies and private drivers here next week.
